Each balance type has its own interest rules and waterfall priority.

Deferred BT — Rate
0% interest during promo period. After expiry the post-promo APR applies to whatever balance remains. No retroactive charges.
Standard purchase APR that kicks in after the promo expires
Regular BT — Rates
Interest accrues at the promo rate during the promo period. After expiry the standard APR takes over.
Cash Advance — Rate
Cash Advance APR accrues from the start date — there is no promo period. No expiry date needed.
Typically higher than standard APR (read from card account)
Loan BT — Rates & Instalment
Fixed instalment is deducted before the payment waterfall runs on other balances. Use APR after rate change + Rate Change Date to model a rate bump (e.g. autopay discount removed). Interest auto-switches from Loan APR to the higher rate starting that date.

Standard Revolving — Rate
Standard purchase APR applies at all times. Paid last in the waterfall after all promo balances.
